I am back...and feeling GREAT!!!

OK...So it's been a while...I know...and I am disappointed in myself for not keeping up with the blog like I promised myself, and you. However, things are quieting down now...and I am back on track to give you more updates on myself (and some more laughs) to get you through your blog reading. Enjoy...sit back...relax...drink a cold one (water that is!!!) and here's an update on what I have been up too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well...I think I need to do a picture update first of myself. That's right, it's time for you to compare a picture of me from a month ago to a picture from today.

Oh...and please excuse the "whiteness". I think the Sun is allergic to...ME. No question about it. I look like someone dusted me off in white flour, painted me in white, and then put me in a padded dark room for three weeks. Well, sometimes I may need that padded room...but here's the pictures...

BEFORE (this picture was taken at the beginning of June)

NOW (as of July 11th, 2011)

Now...what do I notice from this picture?

#1 - WHY AM I LOOKING DOWN AT MY FEET?!?!
#2 - I can definitely notice the difference in my stomach...and what I like to call my "back shelf". Don't know what a "back shelf" is? It's when you have enough of an overhang on your back that you can stand your yard sale knick-knacks on top of it. And right now...I can't do that!

Now...something you can't notice from this picture? I am down a whole size in my jean/pant selections. It feels good to put old Size 36 shorts on this Summer and actually have them fit me!!

Now...if I could only work on that tan...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What else have I been up to? Well on the Morning Show we read that Kenny Chesney can now do 300 pushups in 10 minutes. I figured...heck...if he can do it, so can't I! Right???

Here's the video of me after I got to #50...to my final number...all in six minutes.

How many push ups can you do?

Yup...thats me. In all my...um...glory. Yes, that's what you can call it.

MOTIVATIONAL VIDEO OF THE DAY

I think we all need to watch this videos now and again to keep us moving. I know I need to. Check it out...and keep pushing forward. And join me in this fight to eat healthy. I know I can do it. And I know you can do it too.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That's it for this week! Don't forget to say hello to my friends Dr. Carrie and Dr. Court at the Vreeland Clinic and ask them how you can be part of the program that I am on. It's totally worth the time and effort you will put into it.

Also big thanks to Larry Ruffing at the CCBA and Sterns Quality Produce who have the BEST TASTING and BEST PRICED produce in the region. Stop by and see them in White River Junction!
